Fraud Prevention

You may have heard about or read that customers of a small number of institutions around the world have been targeted by bogus e-mails purporting to be from their bank.

These e-mails contain a link to the fraudster's site requesting details such as personal access codes or PIN numbers to be entered, usually for 'confirmation purposes'. The e-mails frequently say that your bank has made a technical update and recommends reactivating your account by clicking on a link. The link takes you to a page that appears to be your Internet banking login page and asks for the security information you use to logon.

Please DO NOT respond to any such e-mail. Goodbody Stockbrokers never asks customers to re-register security details by e-mail. This is a scam and a fraudulent attempt to obtain account access details.

We are not aware of any attempt to obtain our customers' security details but should you receive an e-mail like this, do not respond and contact us immediately.

Please remember, always keep your log-on details confidential

Our sites use the most up to date security systems to protect our customers' financial and personal data. We have a secure log-in process and state-of-the-art encryption that prevent anyone from accessing your account online.
